Yes, more and more are taking supplements, but the question of whether processing these wonderful herbs for use as supplements gives the same benefits as when taken in their purest, unprocessed form. In reality, people are advised to eat as natural as possible, with minimal processing, i. e. cooking. Yet the nature of preparing supplements seem to go the opposite direction. That is why most health practitioners, especially doctors condemn the use of supplements, as giving an average person expensive urine. Nonthe less I know some who will swear by certain supplements as improving their health.
