The problem is children too can want one thing now, then change their mind later. It happens to us all, at one time or the other.

We believe in one thing now, but with more information and knowledge, we change.

It happened here in UK, when a court ruled that underage (18 years and lower) should not be allowed gender reassignment.

This girl wanted to be a boy, and the hospital started her on hormone treatment, later she changed her mind, and took the hospital to court. She won.
