Alzheimer and Dementia ARE NOT age-related. This is the initial misconception because it is prevalent in elderly individuals until it started happening to younger people, some as young as a thirty-four-year-old university lecturer.

One needs to recognise the difference in memory loss. A lecturer gave us this example in class, it is normal to forget where you put the key, that is normal day-to-day forgetfulness, but with Dementia, you forget how to use the key
