Adoption is a leap of faith. It usually does not go down well in the end. I am talking of percentages here, (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-41427209). This is because of the hypocrisy or blames each level on each other.
The adoptee thinking you have not done enough, and the adopter feeling you are ungrateful. Whatever it is there’s always a spiritual connection, and the experiencing is invaluable for both the ascent of the adopters and the adoptees. The friendship need not continue forever, with no guilt from any, especially if they do not get on with each other.
Both should be grateful for the rich experience provided in the service, short or long.
